The use of e-cigarettes and disposable vape use is causing serious health and safeguarding concerns for young people. It is believed that 1 in 5 teenagers have tried vaping - an increase of ⅓ over a year ago, and they are doing it on school and college premises.
Wider debate, action and education on a national level is needed to prevent these vapes getting into children's hands but at least from a facilities or safeguarding perspective, you can now take measures to reduce this on your premises with our partner Verkada’s range of environmental sensors and security cameras.
On Thursday 28th of November, we hosted a webinar exploring how cutting-edge sensors, security cameras and visitor management systems from Verkada are helping educational leaders monitor and respond to vaping incidents and bullying, improve safeguarding and streamline visitor screening.
