The Armed Forces Covenant
As a longstanding signatory, Capita is proud to be a Gold Employee Recognition Scheme holder and we take our responsibility to uphold the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant very seriously. Our pledge acknowledges we understand and actively support those who serve or who have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, and should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve.
Social value matters
Together with the British Army, we are a steadfast partner for Army recruitment. Through our Recruiting Partnering Project (RPP), we are committed to enhancing and sustaining diversity, equality and inclusion throughout the Army from regular and reserve to soldier and officer roles.
We are proud to be one of the first six major UK employers to sign a commitment to the ‘15,000 Futures’ initiative, launched by WithYouWithMe (WYWM), a social impact firm supporting Armed Forces veterans and their partners to find meaningful employment in technology and digital roles after leaving the military.
As of February 2023, more than 2,000 UK veterans are signed up to WYWM’s platform and are undertaking or have completed free training across 11 Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA) accredited digital career pathways.
