FAO Headteachers, Governors, DSLs, and Senior Leaders
Calling all designated safeguard leads, headteachers and leads for online safety.
Technology continues to play a key role within a young person’s life and therefore can be the vehicle for child-on-child abuse concerns. Following the changes to the online safety section within Part 2 of last year’s 2021 KCSiE document, schools and colleges should now have effectively embedded online safety into their whole school/college approach through policies, procedures, and an inclusive and preventative curriculum.
In KCSiE 2022, the DSL continues to have overall responsibility for online safety but should be supported by Governors. It includes additional considerations linked to online safeguarding which schools/colleges need to be aware of and include within their whole school approach.
Join us to hear about the key changes and additions relating to online safeguarding in the Keeping Children Safe in Education 2022 guidance that will be in place from September 2022. Select your preferred date to attend and book your free place by clicking the link below.
