FAO head teachers, senior leaders and all teaching staff in Staffordshire
It’s tough to find the time to make sure you’re up to date with your training. Life is busy, but it’s vital to give every pupil in your care the best start possible. So, for lead teachers especially, the onus lies on you to ensure you’re continuously developing your knowledge and skills throughout your career.
And, we’re here to help.
Entrust are supporting Capita and Leadership Learning South East (LLSE), to deliver the February 2023 cohort of the National Professional Qualification for Leading Teaching (NPQLT) across Staffordshire.

As we’re cognisant of your time pressures, our training is delivered flexibly so that you’re able to invest in your own professional development alongside your existing commitments. On average, you’ll only need to spend between one to two hours per week working towards your qualification, attending a combination of self-study and group coaching sessions, as well as face-to-face sessions with other participants.
To make sure you’re learning and developing to the very best of your ability, formative assessments take place throughout the programme. This helps you to understand the progress you’re making, and facilitators to adapt your learning experiences when needed. A case study is completed at the end of the course, giving you the opportunity to show how you would deploy the knowledge and understanding gained through the NPQLT to lead and implement a specific aspect of change in your school setting.
With our NPQLT, you’ll:
Funding is available for targeted schools and priority programmes. These include state-funded schools, state-funded 16 to 19 organisations, independent special schools, virtual schools, hospital schools and young offender institutions.
