Our residentials provide a full outdoor and adventurous experience with a range of activities to suit a variety of ages and interests. We will provide pupils with an action-packed itinerary of fun activities that allow opportunities to explore, challenge and grow; helping build confidence and character, improve health and wellbeing, develop awareness and skills, and broaden horizons. Centre activities can include team problem solving, high ropes, water sports, climbing wall, bushcraft, BMX and much more. Activities away from the centres can include scrambling, water sports, caving and day expeditions.

Explore and inspire three-day centre residential: A combination of centre-based adventure challenge and bushcraft activities to help explorers on their way.

Flint and fire two-day centre residential: Two exciting, practical, curriculum-based programmes that offer real-life experience focusing on primitive living skills and nature awareness. A mix of practical workshops and engaging activities including fire lighting, cave art, axe throwing and traditional games and pastimes. Programmes can be tailored to meet your needs.

Through multi-night residentials at campsites around the Peak District or even an overnight ‘base camp’ set up in the grounds of your school, Wilderness Academy provides an immersive multi-activity outdoor experience. Spending time away from their devices and the trappings of technology, pupils can learn more about the importance of conserving and protecting our fragile planet.
Wilderness academy five-day camp residential:
An extended, full-on adventure experience, with a range of outdoor and adventurous activities including rock climbing, scrambling, water sports, day expeditions and bushcraft.
Wilderness academy three-day camp residential:
An exciting blend of outdoor adventure and environmental themed learning, with bushcraft activities mixed with traditional outdoor activities.
Wilderness academy base camp:
Base Camp is an exciting way for your pupils to experience a night under the stars and all the adventure that comes with such an experience - all in the safety of the familiar surroundings of your school grounds. Your pupils will have the chance to learn a wide range of skills including:

Entrust Outdoors are with you all the way in planning and delivering your school’s DofE journey. Let us help with planning, supporting and executing your expedition. We are an Approved Activity Provider (AAP) Licence holder and can provide DofE expeditions on foot, by canoe or bike in all regions.

Entrust Educational Visits Advice and Guidance Service can assist your school to deliver high quality and safe learning outside the classroom using the Evolve visit approval system that allows all visits to be formally recorded and validated to ensure best practice is being followed
Entrust has adopted the National Guidance on school visits from the Outdoor Educational Advisers’ Panel (OEAP) and we will help you to access and follow this guidance.
