This webinar will give an introduction to The 5 Foundations of Effective Attendance Practice - a whole school approach to attendance. This approach covers whole school thinking, culture and climate, policies, systems and processes, staff development, targeted programmes and interventions and approaches to Behaviour Management. It will outline the research, guidance and theory of the approach and how this aligns with the DfE guidance ‘Working Together to Improve School Attendance’ August 2024, as well as the DfE Summary Table of the Responsibilities for School Attendance August 2024.

An Introduction to Sensory Issues in School

This webinar is an introduction to sensory issues in school. There has been an increase in pupils being unable to manage their behaviour in school and more pupils with increased sensory issues. The webinar will explore the potential issues of why some pupils may be unable to manage their behaviour in class and school and explore seven of the main senses with practical suggestions.
